You may be surprised New York City isn’t first but Miami Beach is the most sought after and expensive city to visit for New Years Eve. Known as a party city, it’s going with a big bang in 2017 with Pitbull ringing in the new year at Bayfront Park. Justin Bieber will also be performing at the popular Fontainebleau hotel with Skrillex making an appearance at LIV nightclub.
Home to the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World in Orlando is a top spot to be surrounded by live music, amazing fireworks, and
lots of other entertainment!
New Orleans, Louisiana
The pre-party begins on Bourbon Street for live music and drinks before people head over to Jackson Square to watch a giant fleur de lis drop from the top of Jax Brewery at midnight, with a fireworks show over the Mississippi river to top it off!
New York City, New York
New York City is always a top spot for ringing in the new year, just be prepared to wait hours to watch the ball drop from Times Square at midnight with thousands of other people! Hint: If you have a previous hotel room card from Marriott, you can bypass some of the lines and say you’re heading back to the hotel near Times Square 😉

October is the month for Harry Potter fans in Philadelphia if you’re looking to plan your fall trip!
On October 21 and October 22, Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia will be transformed for the annual Harry Potter Festival and Quidditch Tournament. This is a free event for all ages to enjoy and due to increasing demand, the festival is closing down traffic on Saturday so that a whole 10 blocks can be dedicated for Harry Potter fans.
The super popular Harry Potter Pub Crawl is happening on Friday October 21, where you can drink butterbeer and other drink specials with fellow Harry Potter fans in costumes! Tickets go on sale September 28th at 10am for $10 so make sure to save this date in your calendar!
Actors dressed up as Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dumbledore will also be at Philadelphia’s Train Station to greet and escort SEPTA passengers to the Harry Potter Festival.
