1. Miami, Florida


You may be surprised New York City isn’t first but Miami Beach is the most sought after and expensive city to visit for New Years Eve. Known as a party city, it’s going with a big bang in 2017 with Pitbull ringing in the new year at Bayfront Park. Justin Bieber will also be performing at the popular Fontainebleau hotel with Skrillex making an appearance at LIV nightclub.

2. Orlando, Florida


Home to the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World in Orlando is a top spot to be surrounded by live music, amazing fireworks, and
lots of other entertainment!

3. New Orleans, Louisiana


The pre-party begins on Bourbon Street for live music and drinks before people head over to Jackson Square to watch a giant fleur de lis drop from the top of Jax Brewery at midnight, with a fireworks show over the Mississippi river to top it off!

4. New York City, New York


New York City is always a top spot for ringing in the new year, just be prepared to wait hours to watch the ball drop from Times Square at midnight with thousands of other people! Hint: If you have a previous hotel room card from Marriott, you can bypass some of the lines and say you’re heading back to the hotel near Times Square 😉

5. Las Vegas, Nevada


New Years Eve is one of the most popular times that people visit Vegas and the hotel prices reflect that! You won’t be disappointed with the Vegas strip being closed down for over 300,000 people to celebrate the new year with fireworks and performances. Thousands of visitors come to San Francisco to ring in the new year with fireworks at the Ferry Building. You can also see the fireworks from the Bay Bridge for an amazing display.

Watch the fireworks over the Michigan River from the Navy Pier along with lots of outdoor entertainment and activities with nearly 100,000 other people

8. Austin, Texas


Austin is a more affordable and family friendly city with it’s free New Years Eve event hosted at the Vic Mathias Shores, full of live music, art, and fireworks

9. Honolulu, Hawaii


Enjoy the fireworks over Waikiki Beach and the Aloha Tower Marketplace for a more family friendly way of ringing in the new year

10. Nashville, Tennessee


Watch Nashville’s signature Music Note Drop at midnight from the Tennessee State Capitol building while listening to live music and another firework show at the Cumberland River.
